Universe, please hold this family close to the light.

I'm sorry to hear this Floyd. I can't imagine the sorrow they're going through.

Why do some people seem to have more than their fair share of tragedy in life.? Very sad.

It's hard to understand why fentanyl and the other dangerous opioids are federally legal, but the basically benign marijuana is illegal.

It seems that addiction and the effects of addiction are increasingly touching the lives of so many people...thoughts to you and your client

My best friend, and best man at our wedding, raised 3 boys through high school and into adulthood. They now have one.
The middle son struggled with schooling and fell into the drug problem - ultimately getting involved in dealing and issues with law enforcement. He ended up being shot and killed in a drug-related situation.
The oldest son, the one who had "the most potential" - fell into the drugs and kept losing jobs and security until he OD'd one day and was found in the woods a few days later.
NO parents should have to endure this.
The richest nation in the world should not have this happening here - and should be leading the world in ways to make it all better.

I'll leave out the politics regarding that last statement - SAD for any parents that have to go through this - and sad that we live in a country that can't/won't do anything about it.

My niece was found dead yesterday. Cause is not yet known but she claimed lots of health issues and bragged about doctor shopping to get the drugs she thought would help her with her various ailments. At one point she was carting around dozens of medicines. I suspect either overdose or that her organs failed due to decades of high and un-monitored drug use.
