What’s with the angle of the wall with the clothing sign? Seems it’s cutting behind the storefronts.

they are 3 different angled planes marked “5” on the right, with the 2 lower ones at 90 degrees to each other... that other one (the back wall) seems like it cuts through those buildings. Showed it to a photographer friend just now, she agreed and commented that it looks like it might be a movie set, not that that’s likely, but this is strange.

You could take that 1897 picture in West Virginia today and it would look much the same.
