once ate our entire freshly cooked turkey breast. We had one helping of turkey each....and then it was gone. No turkey! No turkey sandwiches! No turkey salad! No turkey gravy! Turkey Hash! Turkey a la King! Or gallons of turkey soup! Gone, ALL GONE! Well, we wouldn't have gotten all that out of a turkey breast. But I did miss those turkey sandwiches. I miss that old basset / lab mix even more. She was a good, good girl.

..And buried it in the backyard garden. As soon as we figured out what had happened, we were laughing too hard to get mad at her. I'm glad she didn't eat it because hams are way too salty for doggos.

didn't try to steal anything that wasn't hers. Of course, we gave her some turkey and put some gravy on her dog food and she was very happy. She is such a good girl!
