The wonderful thing about GQ is it made a lot of fun of Trek, SciFi, nerds and fandom, but it was loving fun, never mean.

It is one of those rare films that is both a satire and an homage to the same thing it is satirizing. The Princess Bride is another example.

to all the fans of Star Trek.

I'm not a trekkie, but I love Galaxy Quest. Cannot tell you how many times I have watched it. It makes me howl with laughter.

Tim Allen doing Shatner is priceless.

But most of all, being able to watch Alan Rickman doing anything is the best part of it. How I loved that man.

Thanks for posting this. The trailer was great!
I think it's time for another viewing of one of my favorite movies.
