***** Hookay, I'll start (and probably be the only participant) :

* When I make a sandwich, I think of (Hippie pal) who said, "Always spread the filling to the edges (so as the first bite not being just bread) ."

* (Here comes the trouble. ) When I (do the hygiene after a dump), I think of Chelsea HANDLER. O.K., here's the deal. In her early career she was totally pro-woman, which is fine, but to her it meant being ANTI-MALE, most of her repertoire being male-bashing. When she hosted magnificent talent and inoffensive Josh GROBAN she asked him whether he was Gay. To be clear, it's not clear that she meant that being Gay was something bad, but her putting somebody in a bind of responding to something he hadn't otherwise talked about was an ambush and her question implied she couldn't imagine him as heterosexual. In the past few years, she has softened her abrasive approach, probably because it was alienating to her career. The video below illustrates her being cruel to Andy RICHTER and getting a deserved comeuppance. But to my "dump" : One of her observational jokes was that some dude was a bust in the relationship as shown by his wiping DOWN instead of UP. Hence...

* When I brush my teeth, I think of (friend 40 years ago), answering the phone, "I was brushing my teeth."

* When I hear Bob DYLAN, I think of my mother being shocked by Blowing in the Wind, "We sing that IN CHURCH!1"

* When I hear about the glorious Romans, I think of the historical tidbit that they were afraid of the open ocean.

* When I ponder NIETZSCHE, I think of the old professor saying about a Hippie student, "He's got a hat on but NO SHOES!1"
