on Broadway as well. I don't know if he is still active it might be he has a pretty big presence on Broadway. It was not that long ago I read his name in a current musical.

(34,095 posts)3. Thank you!
I loved his Northern Exposure character and every now and then a musical will pop up with his name and I listen. I looked at the page you posted and I guess I should say he indeed had a very large presence on Broadway. More musicals than I expected. I have heard his solos from Shenandoah and he had a lovely voice. I saw him in the movie 1776. What a guy. He had a great career.
