Happy 😃 National 🇺🇸 Cold Cut Day ☀️❗️What's your favorite cold cut/lunch meat sandwich?🥪 (Original Post) Floyd R. Turbo Mar 2020 OP
Has to be a plain old ham sandwich with Swiss cheese and mustard. Prefer rye bread with this one. Polly Hennessey Mar 2020 #1

Sopressata, saussicon sec, capocollo, dry (Spanish) chorizo, salami, jambon de Bayonne/Iberico, and the rest of those super-salty, hard to bite lovelies, thin sliced, with a good layering of Provolone, shredded iceberg lettuce, a fresh tomato, and an olive oil mayo infused with thyme, tarragon and black pepper, all on a really good baguette.

There's something to be said for multinationality on a sandwich.

pickle loaf and tongue loaf. I don't see tongue loaf these days but my son wouldn't like it if I did bring
some home...

on rye with swiss cheese and brown mustard.

Or just smear it on crackers and eat the onions like chips.

was plain chunks of summer sausage on a pillow soft sub roll with mustard and lettuce. I had a pint of Chocolate milk with it. It was from deli in TX that is long gone and I should have gone there more. That was more than 40 years ago and I still remember it.

Nowadays I like the aforementioned -loafs but my favorite is pretty much any kind of Italian meats sandwich with lettuce and oil and red wine vinegar.

I also love corned beef and most tavern/black forest ham but, for some reason, I can't stand the honey/maple glazed ham that my wife and daughter love. I love ham, I love honey and I love maple. Just don't want them together on my sandwich.

Boar's Head has come out with a lot of interesting flavors - we like the Madrasala Curry chicken (it's got a nice kick) and the Teriyaki stuff. And the London Port roast beef. My dad used to make me roast beef sandwiches on the very rare occasions whenthere was left-over roast beef. Slices of roast beef, American cheese and ketchup on white toast. Had to be toast but a little Worcestershire sauce wasn;t out of the question. He put horseradish on his but I had to get much older before I could handle that.
