**VIDEO INFORMATION**
As a result of very little warning the operator had to ride it out, no choice as it takes nearly 15 mins to climb down! Thankfully this crane can withstand up to 115mph in weathervane mode!

Haven't found any confirmation from local news.

Still looking for confirmation.
It could be a hoax, but I don't think it is.
Of course, I'd be interested in any additional information, whether it supports or contradicts his story.

Slight corroboration:

Obviously, that's nothing close to definitive.
Also, "Jason Nash, crane operator", definitely has a presence in the internet. Aside from his Facebook page, he shows up on LinkedIn, lists of licensed crane operator, etc.
Again, nothing definitive. A well organized hoax could account for that.
On edit, Day 2:
Searched Google News this morning, Daily News, Daily Mail, and a few lesser known outlets have the story, but I didn't see anything that would actual add credibility the story.

Hoax or not! Been avoiding any videos about weather for 9 years now. Just getting weather from my phone and newspapes.

p.s. I almost never force people to watch the videos I post. I'm trying, rather late in life, to develop some "people" skills.

A second camera was aimed at the crane operator Jason Nash was in during the Nashville tornado. It shows how much danger he was in while filming.
