The tail swishing might be on account of something the cat sees out the window. The Velveteen Ocelot Mar 2020 #4

But that is not the tail of a happy cat. That swishing motion is usually from a pretty agitated cat.

My cat does that when we play. He backs up into me so I can pull his tail. Then he swishes it back and forth while I pretend I can't catch it. Of course he really wants me to catch it and is thrilled when I finally do.

One of my cats is a major tail swisher -- and she only does it when she's happy and purring and when I'm petting her or rubbing her forehead.

I never had a cat before the current one who was such a tail wagger. Since she was a tiny kitten, she has always swayed and swished her tail when playing and happy. It is definitely not an agitated twitch, which she also does when ticked off.

I have joked that I should have named her Fido. (She likes to play fetch, too.)

The one in the video does not seem unhappy to me. If it was, it would shrug off the dog's paw, or swat it away.

and fixed mine in 1984. Since the 1990s they've moved but you can still buy them and they have diff colors and animals (owls, poodles, etc) and some with rhinestones.

We all can get along. We just gotta. We gotta. I mean, we're all stuck here for a while. Let's, you know, let's try to work it out. Let's try to beat it, you know. Let's try to work it out.
