Has anyone refinanced lately?

I locked in a refinance rate of 2.50% for a 15 yesterday. Now that I’m thinking about it and have done a bit of research, that seems too good to be true. Is this a scam or is this actually possible? The lowest I saw even online was 2.76%. Thanks for any insight!

Just look caRuefully at fees and the reviews of the lender.

It does seem low, however. If you're worried, check and see what the diff is in actual dollars.

I refi’d to a 15 year at 3.75 in 2017. Making extra payments, trying to pay off mortgage in 5 years. The mortgage company calls at least once a week to try to get me to refi again. Nope, you’re not getting any more fees from me now.

Our current agreement actually stipulates a penalty for paying extra. Didn’t even think about that when we bought the house.
