Dallas cancelled the St Patrick's Day parade
My very large church has cancelled everything through March 25 at least.
Spring break has been extended for the local ISDs and the colleges in the area.
My Democratic Woman's Club has cancelled our monthly meeting on the 14th

These are just things I was planning to do in the next 10 days.

My husband and I are making lists of what we need for our self induced isolation.

And, of course the cats don't give a damn

Runs if you dare to get too close at times, then other times will “let” you pet her. And shockingly will come to you once in a blue moon.

I got her a tall condo scratch thing and she chooses which one to lay inside or on the flat parts. I put a soft cat bed on the top flat one and thats her favorite place, right by window to look at birds. She is indoor kitty.

By the way I love her fiercely because I am very independent too, my husband says she is just like me, lol.

8. My county's county executive committee on Monday was cancelled

A continuing legal education event on redistricting set for March 24 is being rescheduled because the Univ. of Houston has cancelled any large meetings

My husband is in the hospital and recovering,
but all this stuff is worrisome.

I'm not freaking out, but I'm being
as careful as I can not to be close to
others.

We'll get thorough this. Friends and family
are supportive. The last few days have
felt like such a bizzaro world with my husband ill in the middle of a fucking pandemic. My biggest fear is they will stop
allowing me to come to the hospital.

We have pets, so I've been back and forth
To take care of them. I really don't want anyone other than me at the house or the hospital. Weird last few days.

I'm scared and ok at the same time.

Oh, and I bought more cat litter than toilet paper. I'm well trained
