Just got back from the grocery store: 10:30am local time

Late morning on a weekday, would normally be deadsville.

It was packed, but nobody seemed panicked.

I was just there to pick up a few things, I was not there to stock up on anything.

The only thing I noticed that was COMPLETELY cleaned out was the ramen noodles!
I guess everyone is channeling their college selves!

Was out too. Ramen noodles took a big hit. A little bit of TP was available. n/t rzemanfl Mar 2020 #1

Make a batch with fresh garlic, onions and ground beef and it lasts in the fridge for days.

because Trader Joe's were out of their Organic Black Beans. What's a girl to do? That's a staple in my house. I've never seen them sell out of that particular item.

of rice at the friendly neighborhood Indian market (which I feel very fortunate to have nearby)

Freezer full of chicken breasts and we just made a stock the pantry trip to Costco to spend our 2019 rebate.

I think we will have Indian Dal tonight, since I have lentils (and a ton of rice!)

The main thing I need to get is produce and dairy. I'd like to grab some coffee cream and extra coffee

sorts of stuff, so I took a chance and went to a local Dollar store. Found plenty of dry beans, Basmati and Jasmine rice, TP, paper towels, cleaning supplies, cotton balls, canned foods, sauces, pastas, sugar-free drinks, boxed milk, tea... However, no alcohol or hand sanitizer, but they did have hydrogen peroxide. Plenty of all sorts of soaps, shampoo and conditioners, lotions. Best part was there was hardly anyone in the store mid day.

I'm thinking of opening up a little corner stand and charging outrageous prices.
