IDK if these are the "best movies ever", but I could watch them over and over because they are so meaningful:

Movies:
O brother where art thou
Rain Man
The Rainmaker
The Pianist (the middle part may be too depressing for some, although ultimately it's a movie about the beauty of humanity)

Series:
Dead to Me (Netflix series)
Mad Men
Killing Eve (Dark and often humorous)
Orphan Black (highly recommended!)

Some lighter fare:
Dick (starring Dan Hedaya)
Orange County
The Birdcage
Death Becomes Her (a bit darker, but funny as hell)
All of Me (Lily Tomlin and Steve Martin) Much lighter, and also funny as hell
Mom (TV series starring Alison Janney)

If you're a Verizon customer, HBO and Cinemax are FREE for the weekend. It's a great time for watching or taping a few good flicks.

Watch HBO® and CINEMAX® on us, 3.13—3.16

Decisions, decisions.

• Watch HBO® originals like Westworld or the new series The Plot Against America

• Catch blockbuster movies like Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

• Watch HBO® on channels 400 SD/899 HD and CINEMAX® on 420 SD/920 HD.
