I haven't been out of the house since last week. My daughter brought me groceries today. She and my grand daughter came to my house and donned cloth scarves before they got out of the vehicle. My daughter, wearing latex gloves, brought the groceries to my porch and set the bags down. I put my shirt up over my face, and handed a fresh loaf of bread to my grand daughter, holding it by the tip of the bag I put it in. None of us got withing 4 ft of the others. We called greetings to each other, had a few minutes of conversation. And then they left. I didn't give or get hugs. This is how is is going to be. How long can we bear the absence of human touch?

Last night he asked if we had plans for Saturday. oh, hes thinking of golfing.
Wow. Kinda hoping for a shelter in place order before then. Hell shake hands with his buddy, out of habit. Sigh. I realize that golf is less of a contact sport but still.
I did have my brother over for dinner and gave him a hug so maybe Im a bit of a hypocrite?
