My weekend

Ran out of home heating oil

Got emergency delivery: add $95

Furnace wouldn’t restart. Had to call for service: add $206.

Worked for two hours had to get the tech back this morning. Fixed. For now. Don’t need the heat, but cold water only is no treat.

Got flat tire on my truck. Towed to tire place. Good news there. Fixed puncture. They didn’t charge me. Customer for 20 years. Yippee.

Dog pulled my laptop off the table. Cracks in screen. Don’t know if it works. Stormed out of the house to calm down.

And it’s supposed to snow tomorrow. I hate snow. And winter.

World is coming apart at the seams. Though I’m not alone in this, so thank you all for joining me at the end of the world.

Donating blood next week. I hope the survivors of the apocalypse appreciate this.

I really mean that.

People can only take so much.

I am glad you had the money to solve some of your problems.

It double sucks when you have no money to solve your problems.

You had a very bad day. One, catastrophic event can cause a bad day, but most of my really bad days have been ones in which a long series of comparatively little things go wrong while nothing seems to be going right.

I feel for you. I recommend a beer.

It’s a small failing of mine. But I think today woukd be a good day for it, since I have to do my taxes later. Another happy task.

Yes, this too shall pass. Sooner rather than later would’ve nice.

May the rest of your problems be over for now. You've had more than your share.
