I should cut a few Daffodil buds for the house before the bunnies and woodchucks eat 'em.

3. I just couldn't wait any longer, so I clipped two that were close to opening

When I need my spirit lifted, I just go to them and take a sniff. What a fragrance!

5. Ok, outta the pj's and into my jeans for a quick trip outside.

My pup will enjoy a walk in the sunshine, even if it is cold.

We are getting snow overnight tonight.

I'm not expecting much but who knows. Fingers crossed it will be warm enough by Tuesday to start on some yardwork.

7. The high temp tomorrow will be 34.

Wednesday will be warmer. No gardening but I do want to start removing the clutter on my front porch. That will make me happier for sure.

Only 1 bud was worth bringing in. Better days are coming.

8. Daffodils are Killers..... This is interesting. Who Knew?

Daffodils are cheerful symbols of spring… and also cold blooded killers. But it turns out, the poison in these plants may actually be helpful to us humans!

9. Must not be an 'in the ground' issue because my flower beds are full of daffs, tulips and roses

Plenty of hyacinth, bleeding heart, day lily, wild flowers, lavender and bee balm, too. All interspersed amongst the daffodils.

11. They mentioned they are toxic, bulb to bloom, so that's what made me wonder

I've GOT to remember to thin my daffs, this year. Last year I was digging up tulips that have escaped the flower beds. Now I'm finding more, and some daffs, that I missed.
