When Jeannie is through working, I'll get her to show me how to
post the photos. So happy!

And Elise has always been one of my favorite name, because of a lovely friend by that name many years ago.

(25,816 posts)I learned a bit of 'Fur Elise' on my guitar--I'll be sending it along
with the lullaby I made for my daughter when she was a baby.

(25,816 posts)I never really amounted to much in my life. I never finished college, I dropped out of an
honors English program to become a bricklayer. I own my land and built my own house.
I raised my kids as a single dad. But the one really fine blessing I had was my kids.
They are all fine and doing well, never becoming like their bum dad.

(38,525 posts)You don't at all seem like a bum dad.
But the links to your photos aren't working.
Congrats on the grandchild!

We have a granddaughter and having grown up with no sister and no daughter of my own..well, I find my Young Lady
fantastic and pure joy.
Congratulations.

(25,816 posts)I feel, with the birth of a grandchild that I have gone full circle.
So tell me more about the water meeting you attended. Years ago,
Indians put a claim on the water here, being part of the watershed that feeds the San
Pedro which feeds the Gila, etc. My deed gives me rights to my water. The
meeting at Buena High was very contentious, one guy had a heart attack.
Then it went quiet. The threat was to meter our wells and pay for water that was already mine.
P.S. thanks for the congrats--nothing like family.
