(15,805 posts)I came up with PB&J, Peanut Butter Cookies and Chicken Stir Fry with Peanut Sauce, Peanut Butter Brownies, Peanut Butter Frosting for Chocolate Cupcakes. After that I am, quite literally, toast. Any other ideas?

(7,220 posts)I realize not everyone was able to stock up on supplies. But whatever folks have that boosts immunity, get it into you and your families now! Now is the time to think of food as medicine!
Think about how you can add these foods to your meals:
-Elderberry (juice or tea)
-Button mushrooms (selenium!)
-Acaii
-Turmeric
-Garlic
-Green tea
-Foods high in vitamin C like Red bell peppers, Spinach, broccoli, citrus, sweet potatoes
-Probiotics including yogurt
-Red cabbage (cheapest antioxidant for the $)
Chicken soup is a good one -- add some ingredients from above if possible.
Here's a delicious and hearty vegan peanut stew recipe with turmeric and sweet potatoes: https://veggiesociety.com/plant-based-peanut-stew-recipe-with-soy-curls (garbanzo beans or mushrooms work great if you don't have/like soy curls)

(9,256 posts)Im addicted to Giant Wild Cherry Sparkling Water and anticipating the day its gone from the shelves. Found a box of 100 tea bags.
Bring half gallon water to a rolling boil. Remove from heat. Add 13 tea bags, steep 5 minutes. Remove tea bags, add sweetener to taste, stir in a half gallon cold water. Pour into a gallon container, refrigerate. I found 8 little packets of Sweet-n-Low was just right. Way better and cheaper than diet soda.
