The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsMy brother makes bomb spaghetti and meatballs, which we had yesterday.
My SIL cooks the hell out of whatever meat you put in front of her, and she also kills at mashed potatoes and from-scratch mac 'n' cheese, which we had tonight.
As I was thanking them for yesterday and today, they both looked at me and said, "You gotta get a dish, bro."
So as far as home-cooked dinner goes, it looks like the free ride is over.

Since its just 2 of us at home I often buy a pack of chicken breasts and freeze most of them. Cleaning out the freezer I found at least 10 big boneless breast and a couple packs of tenders. So its chicken fajitas, chicken soup, chicken piccata, chicken wrapped in bacon, sweet and sour chicken and more recipes Ill dig up.

Makes a ton. Serve over white rice and grab some frozen naan from Trader Joes to top things off.

I've been known to sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and have also served it over hamburger buns as sort of a sloppy joe type thing.
Sometimes to save on ingredients I buy the Bush;s Baked beans that already have brown sugar and bacon mixed in. Of course, there is nothing wrong with more bacon.
By the way, Trisha Yearwood claims this, but I have a (at least) thirty year old Southern Living cookbook with it in it.
