I lived in Boulder, all too briefly, in the late '80s.

Among the things I loved about living there were the high winds in fall and especially in the spring. I'd lie in bed at night, listening to the wind gusts, and then the next morning on the radio they'd tell me how high those gusts were. I got so I could correctly guess within 5mph just how strong those gusts were.

Also, my younger son still recalls when a gust of wind knocked him off his feet as we were exiting the King Soopers at the Table Mesa Shopping Center. He was about three years old at the time. Luckily, I had enough more body mass to hang on to him and keep us upright.

I'm currently in Santa Fe, and we are supposed to get some snow overnight. Wonder if it's the same storm.

I have family in Colorado and know that the weather can be very changeable. And here in NE NY, we've been known to have snowstorms in April, sometimes as late as the beginning of May.

I dread the hottest part of summer and dealing with wearing masks everywhere. I say extend the cold as long as possible.

My sweet girlie dog agrees! Snow, momma, snow!

The snow didn't melt overnight. Right now it's below freezing.

(I'm in South Texas, so no freezing stuff down here)

It was warmer today and most of the snow is already gone. We'll probably get one more storm or two before May.
