LOST fans might get a kick out of this

So I added "I've got you babe" as a ringtone for my alarm at 7am. My wife says "It's funny and not funny".

I couldn't remember what song was playing when we first meet Desmond on LOST. I'm doing a morning workout ritual sort of like he does so I thought it would be funny as a ringtone at 6am. See below.

So I'm doing my workout today (powers out which helps for this story) and I stepped down into the garage to do a lifting set (rock salt in grocery tote bags and a broom handle). Our dog's invisible fence battery backup is going. ........BEEP......BEEP.....BEEP...

My wife is just up 3 stairs in the den and we both cracked up laughing.

Couldn't remember what song it was, I was thinking "Downtown" by Petula Clark (which was also featured in a LOST episode), then he figured it out.

That's too perfect with the invisible fence beeping.

We re-watched this about 2 years ago with our daughter who was 12 at the time.

Not too far into it she would regularly say, "They are all dead. You all know this right?"
We'd say "just keep watching" and then both lean back and look at each other. It was PAINFULLY obvious. We just convinced ourselves there HAD to be some other explanation

Loved that show regardless.

Bought the series on DVD and have watched it at least twice (maybe 3 times) all the way through. It had a lot of meaning for me because it was the first show that held my interest in 2004, that was the year my dad passed and we moved to VA.

Too funny about your daughter though. I know when it became obvious where things were going, I really wanted it not to be so. Great series!

We were huge LOST fans! I would go onto fan message boards after each show to discuss the episode, argue various theories, and explore the meaning of Easter eggs we'd found. It was a lot of FUN!
