Little do they know it, (Dunning-Kruger and all) they are riding in a grim bandwagon that is actually being pulled by one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Pestilence, the fourth horse.

"Weeee! Let's go for a ride."

Death can be freeing. How one dies can be excruciating, though.
