My husband got a six pound bag of chicken thigh quarters for $1.99 a pound last week. I cut them up, laid them out on cookie sheets to freeze them separately, and now we have bags of legs and thighs, bone in skin on.

I cooked four of the thighs the other day - marinated them in Italian salad dressing with some added herbs, then baked them until the skin got crispy. They made two meals for the two of us and delicious fresh cooked and re-heated.

Me.

It was from a local place where she has always shopped so she put in an order and paid ahead of time. It wasn't until she looked at the receipt after the delivery that she realized what it cost.
