I almost tear up when I see pictures of home. Gods, I miss it.

2. That is Nags Head Pier in beautiful Nags Head, North Carolina...

on a Saturday morning, October of last year. It was around 62F at that moment. I also have to tell you that I was standing with my camera on a tripod taking those pics while looking at my cam feed from our house in Minnesota showing snow on the ground. (I really miss home, especially living up here in the tundra.) I looked and could not find anything that says 'alternate embeddable link'... where did you see this?

"Alternate embeddable link" was my choice of words, not anything "official".

If you right-click (varies with platform/browser), you get a menu that offers the option to open the image in a new tab. The URL of the image in the new tab contains the ".jpg" filename suffix and is embeddable in DU posts.
