4. Sorry, it sounded like he made a speech for the high school crowd. And not even the

higher level students.
Just too namby pamby.
Hope the one for the college students will be better.

9. President Obama already gave a college commencement speech today.

And, like his high school commencement address, it was also heartfelt and inspiring.

17. There's another online event planned for June. I don't know who is speaking.

President Obama gave an address to HBCU graduates today.

15. The intended audience for the entire program was the class of 2020.

Nobody does hope and change better than Obama but he had to throw in a healthy dose of reality or he would have been criticized for being too positive. I taught high school seniors for 36 yrs and I thought he did a good job of aiming his message at that age group.

16. It was short and sweet ....

realistic and just the opposite of namby pamby. It was inspiring to hear realism instead of gushing flowery words. Very enjoyable.

6. Right there with you!

At the very least, he's an extraordinarily decent human being.

It's good to be reminded that such decency is possible.

14. Yes, you have already given your opinion. Are you going to make sure each of us

who liked it gets a personal response from you? So no one misses the fact that you didn't like it?
