And I get an odd thrill of being able to unload as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Bottom line, only glass, silverware and ceramics. Each piece of silverware has its own designated space in the side tray. Plates have to be large enough to ensure they don't shift around unnecessarily.

It's a thing of beauty. Trust me on that.

It’s an art AND a science, to my way of thinking.

As for the unloading chore, it’s ten minutes of my life I’ll never get back.

as many dishes in yours as I do in mine.

I will admit, however, that once everything is put away, it is deeply satisfying.
