I am going to make crispy pork belly outdoors. I watched a you tube video

of a woman named Sros who made this recipe outdoors and it looked so good I thought I would have to give it a try.
I am going to use bricks and a wok on top of a structure which will hold the wood that will use to heat the oil and the wok. Everything will be very sturdy.
Has anyone ever done this before? Any cautions or suggestions?

Oh yea, to answer your question, no, I have never done anything like that...We have cooked on open campfires before but that was different as there was not a wok with a gallon of oil in it.

2. I know. Isn't she amazing? I am a bit worried about the oil too but we are going to build a

small brick structure that will not move. I will let everyone know how it turns out. Maybe I will take pictures.

can't find it at the local Kroger, and I've requested it. Lucky you, that sounds fantastic.

4. We buy ours at the Asian market. We love to go there because everyone keeps

their distance and wear masks. We don't eat pork belly very often because it is so rich. We were plant based for a long time and then kind of went paleo because I switched to the Wahls diet for my MS.
