The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI am going to make crispy pork belly outdoors. I watched a you tube video
of a woman named Sros who made this recipe outdoors and it looked so good I thought I would have to give it a try.
I am going to use bricks and a wok on top of a structure which will hold the wood that will use to heat the oil and the wok. Everything will be very sturdy.
Has anyone ever done this before? Any cautions or suggestions?

She looks like she has lots of experience and that looked quite yummy when done.
I am in awe of your culinary bravery! Well done!
Oh yea, to answer your question, no, I have never done anything like that...We have cooked on open campfires before but that was different as there was not a wok with a gallon of oil in it.

(3,590 posts)their distance and wear masks. We don't eat pork belly very often because it is so rich. We were plant based for a long time and then kind of went paleo because I switched to the Wahls diet for my MS.
