I find this Geico tv commercial very amusing

10. They stole my dream!

I love this commercial, every time it comes on. For itself and because it’s the incarnation of a vow I made some years ago. You see, we have a downstairs neighbor who has been the bane of our existence for years. She couldn’t have quieter neighbors than us: two senior citizens who don’t wear shoes inside 97% of the time. But god forbid 2 or 3 times a year I put on a pair of heels to go to a dressy event just before I leave the house and—heaven forfend—walk once across the floor to get to the door. I’ll get an email the next day complaining about the noise.

And when once every month or two (pre shelter in place) my granddaughters come for Sunday lunch or a holiday, she’ll come banging on the door screaming, and saying it sounds like elephants. Really? a joyous liittle 2 or 3-year-old running in the house for a few minutes?

These are but a few examples of many. I said to my husband years ago, when we’re ready to sell this place I’m going to make sure we sell it to a family of Irish clog dancers, or maybe a flamenco troupe. I swear. And then this ad!

I like the Progressive one with Flo protecting the car too, but mostly Progressive seems to have jumped the shark on their ads, cannot stand the Jamie guy.
