Dog brought lamb really close to human a couple of times—just in case human wanted to grab it. That’s a good dog.

My old bearded collie used to compete in herding trials. They are fun to watch

That border was playing with the sheep. Borders are great herding dogs and use a "strong eye" to move sheep



Beardies tend to bounce when herding This is a puppy doing herding instinct.

We had to cancel the herding trial in my area due to COVID and so I have not tested my 15 month old beardie yet

Hazel is half the size of Maggie.

Hazel chases Maggie around the yard, nipping at M's ankles. This goes on until M gets tired of it.

Then, Maggie sits on Hazel.
