I'll share it now, but earlier today I didn't share how I left my dryer lint outside for the nearby squirrels to take... and I've indeed witnessed them carrying it away to presumably use as nesting material.
So I first looked it up and, sure enough, people on the internet have berated others for doing it because of concerns about it absorbing too much moisture and such.
