Bladder Dance

Is it just me, or does everyone's bladder mysteriously know when you are within 5 feet of the bathroom and just go ape shit?

When I'm out and about, it happens when I'm on the west side of the grocery store and the bathrooms are on the east side. 'Tis a challenge some days!

and watch TV and I can sit for hours with no inkling I have to go BUT the microsecond I stand up for anything and my bladder is like "Dude, we're going whether you like it or not. Fuck your pants." and I have about 10 seconds to get to a restroom.

This only started once my diabetes got bad enough to need 3 medications and hasn't stopped after losing weight (but my a1c numbers are getting better).
