If Facebook puts you in a timeout, do they give you notice?

Everything I post is linked and accurate. Yesterday, I did challenge someone who has connections to the GOP. Could they pull strings to make my posts invisible to my other friends?

I've seen others post that they've received notices, usually with a time-frame (24 hours, etc.)

Edit: I also doubt that some random yahoo would have enough connections to make that happen. FB doesn't give people timeouts for disagreements, etc.
