My crib was next to my parents bed, and as a small toddler, I could climb like a monkey! I would go over the side rail, reach over, grab the bedpost on the big bed and shinny down. My parents asked me how in the world I got out of the crib, and I stupidly told them. The next night, my crib was covered and tied shut with mosquito netting - LOL!

I think that was my first life lesson and reality check.

I climbed out of my crib, fell and broke my arm. I don't recall that incident, but I do recall going to a doctor about it, and wearing a sling for a while.
