At least an hour. Usually more.
Can sleep at will. Wakes up like a shot. Sleeps 8 more hours at night.
Talk about opposites.

I would take 10 min power naps. They usually worked.

(149,571 posts)7. My shortest is about 30 minutes; my longest maybe 1 to 2 hours.
I almost always take one after lunch. It makes me more energetic for the later hours of the day and it doesn't seem to interfere with my sleep.
I've been taking naps daily or nearly daily since my kids were babies! It makes my life much easier.

I can nap anywhere from 4 hours down to one minutes.
Yeah, sometimes the mere act of surrendering to the sleep s refreshing, even if it's only a minute. Obviously it doesn't last, but it's enough for a "second wind"....
