(63,221 posts)Something I usually only eat in the summer, unless I can score a few pounds of lobster meat from my sister's friends who own a seafood business in Maine, and then I make a lobster risotto w/ asparagus, champaigne and saffron that is really delicious.
I would eat it more often if I could afford to. Live lobsters aren't all that expensive, they are just a hassle to deal with and I don't want to kill them myself. I just can't bear it.
I prefer getting the shelled meat which is very expensive. I know that someone has to kill them, I am now just feeling really guilty and sad about liking lobster. And meat. I really struggle with this when I think about it. Hope I'm not bumming you out, Floyd.
