My neighborhood political signs.

My neck of the woods here in Chicagoland is quite diverse, we are a fine bunch of hard working Americans who work and play with the best of them.

I walk around every weekend with my pooch to check out the signs. Approximately 80 homes and there are 2 trump signs and 15 Biden/Harris or anti-trump signs. I knew my marine retired neighbor was pro-asshat but yesterday, his sign takes the cake! He put at least a 6' x 8' flag in big letters "TRUMP 2020 No more bullshit!"on top of his garage.

I was so incensed, my 2 mile walk probably only took 2 minutes! There are at least 4 same sex couples within 50 yards of this guys house, an insult actually to ALL of us! The only other pro-trump is interestingly enough another marine with the same flag!

So, I ordered a yard sign to lower my blood pressure. It is Rosie the Riveter with "Grab 'em by the ballot!" Biden/Harris 2020.

I can hardly wait to proudly place by my mailbox!

We can not begin to heal fast enough.

Trump has given us nothing but bullshit! That's all the man does and not one other thing for over 4 years! And I've seen only 2 Trump signs in my travels as well - Northeastern New York. But they were the same, these oversized banners instead of the normal sized lawn signs that everyone else has...

with the most Trump-Pence signs (one of two houses) has covered his yard with them. True to form (and I don't blame the dogs for this) his three larger-than-normal Sharpeis are real assholes, aggressively running the fence lines and working harder than an angry pitbull to get out/over whenever anyone walks by (or little kids ride by on their bikes). Mind you, I love all dogs, so I put the blame for this where it belongs (and this truly surpasses "normal" barking and territorial behavior of dogs in a fenced yard). Aggressive A'hole Trump-loving homeowner with aggressive a'hole dogs, I guess.

The only house with a trump* sign in the yard now also has a Biden/Harris and Dan Kildee sign. And a few others that I can't quite read from my yard, so I'm talking a stroll, rain permitting, so I can read them.

The owner of the house was always a really sweet, rational man, and a Democrat. During my last few conversations with him, I realized that something was definitely wrong. His son later let me know that his father has Alzheimer's. I'm wondering if the son is trying to placate his father's new brain path, while also mitigating things, since every other sign in the neighborhood are for Democrats. And they are increasing in number, every day.

When I’m out and about that confuses the heck out of me ....it says

Drain The Swamp Keep America Great Again

and it’s blue with the little stars like a trump sign.

Does this mean they want to drain the swamp that’s there right now? How could you say that and still support trump? I don’t get it.

They defy and defile. That obnoxious flag must be connected to the Marines somehow, both men have the same sized flag with same verbiage, and both men are obnoxious. Probably numerous sane Marines who can see what trump is, but certainly not these two.
