It's odd how that issue has been so politicized. There is a conservative forum that I occasionally peruse, and they are like 100% against marijuana usage. They are not just against it, but actually look down upon the smokers as dope heads. It's really bizarre to me.

You can accurately predict what somebody will pack in their pipe by the color of their hat.

Also our music appreciation forum is way, way better than theirs.

here in Kansas will not even consider it. It was brought up last year and the howling and screaming of "EVIL WEED" could be heard on the moon. They are still trying to think of ways to get rid of CBD here. I will die before it ever comes up for a calm discussion.

to even allow a vote, which I'm sure would pass easily. They feel they know what is best for us in all matters and sadly the voters continue to elect these ghastly folks. That is changing so the future might be a little brighter but I'm not holding my breath! I'm sure I will not live to see it.

I did not realize Texas was like that, at least on that issue.

We are slowly trying to change things but with supermajority status for them we just have to fight for every tiny thing. Our poor governor and the public health officials are wearing themselves ragged and out over masks.

I figure it took us years upon years to let people fly over our state without yanking the drinks from their hands as they entered only to give them back as they reached reasonable air space over another state. I won't live that long.

YeeeHawww, we cannot turn this state into a commune of hippies!

My brother was driving from CA to WI via the southern route. They had legal pot.
Got caught at a stop and police dog sniffed out their less than 28 ounces. Federal agents. Federal crime!!! Long story but now he’s on no fly list. Get searched completely every trip.

Hate Texas. My mother was from Texarkana. Still hate Texas.
