"In a year of disappointments and canceled events amid the coronavirus pandemic, the McRib is still coming back.
McDonalds announced Friday that its iconic barbecue sandwich is set to return for a limited time starting Dec. 2.
And for the first time since 2012, it will be available at restaurants nationwide.
"The McRib has been a beloved menu item at McDonalds since its inception nearly 40 years ago," Linda VanGosen, McDonalds vice president of menu innovation, said in a news release. "To our customers, its become more than a delicious, saucy moment its a season, and its taking the internet by storm."
NOTE: Yes, I know it's evil, not good for you, fat saturated, etc., etc. - but damn it, I'm too old to care and I was looking forward to it

Are they actually any McGood?

(16,296 posts)8. Has no redeeming features ---
They're sloppy, salty, with just a few pickles and onions on a slab of unknown meat (maybe pork) that has been ground up and reshaped into a slab vaguely resembling a rib from an anemic cow.
Can't wait---

(8,853 posts)9. That's a fairly vivid description...
...of pretty much what I imagined. Haven't eaten any McD's food in years. The food there wreaked havoc with my stomach. Even their fries taste like some weird byproduct.
