Good sauce.

You know the old saying about sex and pizza - it may not be great pizza, but ......it’s pizza.

Guess where McPizza ranks?

Quite agree about 7-Eleven's pizza--when you're looking for a cheap hot greasy basic pie, it's surprisingly good.

Late at night and with Covid stores close earlier and I went to McDonald's. Saw it on the menu and ordered it. Healthier than a Big Mac.

Maybe it's a limited market thing. It was decent. Over priced, but decent. It sure wasn't as salty as a Big Mac.

The McBratwurst.

It was a Johnsonville brat, but was so bland it tasted like a hot dog.
(I did try one.)

This part of the article made me chuckle. (I usually give up on a drive-through immediately if the vehicle in front of me is full of children.)

----------
For some dumbass reason, McDonald's was allowing people to order these at the window, causing backups in the line. We all know that feeling, too. When we can just tell the car in front of us is going to be a problem. Some bumper sticker that tells us they're going to cause shit. Send food back. I'm sure people at this time knew when they were behind a McPizza car. There is no way that car didn't look like a Ford Fiesta at the end of a demolition derby, because someone getting a McPizza is on their last legs as a human.

I remember back in 1960.
Hamburgers 15cents
Cheeseburgers 19cents
Shakes 20cents
Fries 10cents
Soda 10cents

They were really fast back then. No adding machine cash register, you'd give your order and as soon as you paused the guy behind the counter would tell you the amount you pay.

I'm really pissed now. The dollar cheeseburger is now $1.39 here.

Adjusted for inflation, your $0.19 cheeseburger in 1960 is equivalent to $1.67 in 2020 dollars.

So you are getting an even better deal than before.

An early Tandy computer that nowadays is outclassed by a smart phone was thousands of $$$.

Today, a laptop with 1 terabyte of HD space is about $300.

Was in Canada for a bit in the late 90's.

Only problem was it took at least 10-15 minutes each time you ordered one..which would royally piss off everyone you were eating with....especially when you ordered one thru the drive-thru...
