Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsMy HCP changed my anti-anxiety medication so I have been reading up on any side effects
One of the rare side effects (and Im NOT making this up) is holding false beliefs that cannot be changed by fact.
Does that mean there's a rare chance it might turn me into a trump* supporter?? YIKES!!! If that happens, I am giving my family my approval for the most drastic intervention ever held. If the intervention doesnt work, just euthanize me!!

(26,177 posts)I haven't taken many prescription meds, during my lifetime and only ever had a side-effect from one. (Flexeril knocked me OUT) So I thought it a good idea read up on what to watch for. Drowsiness? Makes sense. Dry Mouth? Yea, I could see that. Turning absolutely insanely delusional? Now, that's one I didn't see coming.

(34,169 posts)my back a few years ago when I was still working. I would fall asleep at my desk. That groggy feeling was awful. I would be alarmed by the "psychotic break" side effect, too. 😨😱
Yikes.

(26,177 posts)However, I am disappointed that the drowsiness effect is not happening. They told me to take this before going to bed, because that's what most people experience. As someone with insomnia, it's just my luck to miss out on that one. I'm hoping that maybe once it builds up, a bit, I'll relax enough to sleep.

(50,447 posts)I can just see the commercial for this product: "If you have the sudden urge to paint yourself orange and stand in the middle of twenty thousand strangers without a mask, immediately discontinue use, find someone to punch you in the head repeatedly, and contact your healthcare provider."
