Very very simply a Virtual Private Network is another layer of security on your internet connection. It makes it a bit harder for hackers & internet scammers to see you on line.

An example of Web Scraping (but not the only one) is those "Which Old Testament Prophet Are You Most Like?" not for real but you get the idea.

Mom is putting some specific information about her to the internet, a data scraper is gathering it, then selling that info to other data companies.

I called my most computer literate nephew, he will go over and set up some better online security for her..


I would imagine that someone from MI6 handles the Queens & Princess Royals internet security. Maybe.
