As tragic as it is, it is the way a great number of our ancestors died..I would rather be eaten by a pack of giggly demon dogs than spend to next 3 decades trapped in my skull while my body slowly fails. It's more natural.

3. Right now I'm in a cheap-ass skilled nursing facility so

that I can learn to walk on my new prosthesis and take care of myself when I get home. I've been here two days and I've already been ripped off, and the other night I saw a couple of workers, who must have been high, laughing so hard at a woman with dementia that tears were running down their cheeks. She asked a question and they didn't answer her, didn't help her, just laughed continuously in her face. If I've got that to look forward to in old age, please, God, don't let me get there.

I almost didn't choose this place, but the lady from the hospital gave me someone's number here and told me to call her. She spoke highly of the place, said it was under new management, the whole nine yards, and it's like this. I'm going to talk about her, too, and give out her phone number.
