Remember "Unchained Melody" sung by Bobby Hatfield (of the Righteous Bros)?

This is one of You Tube's reviewed songs (usually by kids in their 20s, sometimes younger).

I had forgotten how fantastic it is!! Every woman who has reviewed it simply swoons!!

During a horrible time in my life and it brings back those horrible feels but it's also a great song. Most of the time I can get past the sting of the past and enjoy the song for other reasons.

My older sister bought their records (singles!) and I'd hear them--

I know-- thinking about the past can be hurtful-- it's a challenge to get beyond that but it is possible

55 fucking years ago! 1965 seems like yesterday to me, while it was a long time ago to this young woman. But she still got it. Bobby Hatfield and his angelic voice bridge the years. Damn.

Reactions are not as real as they say and not only have the "new to" reviewers heard the songs but are fairly well- acquainted to the tunes. Like much on-line content it has me skeptical.

They’ve really taken off during the pandemic. Just go to YouTube and search for “reaction to” your favorite artist.
