"There is no mask mandate" And that is why we, at our business will not wear any.

So I decide I would try one of the "Float spas" near me. They are supposed to use steam to clean each room before and after you use the pool and you are required to take a shower before and after; Good! Wouldn't want to spread germs.

I go in and there are 2 people behind the counter and I use the bathroom and go into the pool room and then stop because I realize that neither of them are wearing a mask! I say, "Why aren't you wearing masks?" and the guy says, "There is no mask mandate" Then I tell them that my aunt just died from Covid and I leave. And I have been fuming ever since.

How stupid do you have to be to own a business, that I am sure has suffered during the last year and not put a tiny piece of fabric across your face to protect your clients?

I am thinking about telling people in a review; plus they are also having some sort of Groupon thing and you can review there. I don't know. I need to calm down first. Then again that review could save someone's life because I bet a lot of people would not want to just walk out, especially since there is a way for you to pre-pay online - which I didn't.

3. Went to a different Subway yesterday

because my usual one closed. Don't know why. In checking for another one nearby (I order and pay online and pick up at drive thru when possible) I noted that another one in the area has also closed. There is another one in the area. I have hesitated to go there because early in the pandemic, I went inside and employee and customer were yakking away 2 ft from each other with no masks. Anyway, yesterday I went to pick up an order inside (this store has no drive thru) and the employee was not wearing a mask. When I asked her why she was not wearing a mask she turned and walked away. When I got home I went to the customer survey site and typed in the store number and order number, time of day and date. I informed them that their employee is not wearing a mask and that I will find another store to visit. And I get a free cookie. I've done this at multiple stores. Usually, within a few days the employees are miraculously wearing their masks again. And properly.

Subway is one of the least expensive franchises to get into but there are no territorial protections. Franchises are sold on every other street corner and they cannibalize each other.

It's a lot better than the crap they serve at Burger King. Yet Burger King has a line around the block and Subway at the location I went to was never busy. If you use their rewards card, you get $2 rewards, fill out the survey online, get a free cookie or drink, use the online coupons and get 2 for 1 or second one half price, it's cheaper than Wendy's or other places. I just bought 2 footlongs and medium drink, got a free cookie and it was $10 and change. That's 4 meals for me.

there are several fast food places nearby that have suddenly closed. Burger King and Wendy's. Both have long lines at the drive thru nearly all day, so I doubt they are strapped for cash. I suspect there have been virus breakouts.

now have Covid. One who has it has caused his anti-masker mother to be banned from her work in an assisted facility until everyone in the household tests negative. Idiots, but I am sure they will complain when it comes time to pay the bills.

just lost his wife to COVID. A bunch of our people just went to a convention in Orlando, FL. They are posting photos on our site. No masks. Not one. Now you know why I moved my office home 1 year ago.

11. I included that in my review. A lack of caring is usually not an isolated incident but

a pattern; at least that's the way it seems to me. Like the restaurants who don't wear masks make me really wonder if they wash their hands after they go to the bathroom.

10. Instead of buying online, I looked up an item to see if I could buy it from a local merchant.

Found a store just a few miles from me that carried it, but I was not familiar with it so I clicked on its website.

Front and center on the homepage was a screed from the owner saying he will not serve anyone wearing a mask. Brought up freedom and people living in fear like rabbits and patriotism and bygod President Donald Trump.

I ordered online. Nearly $400 sale this dope threw away.

I drove by the place next time I was in town. Covered in American flags and the whole front window was an American flag.
