Mayo sounds ridiculous to me btw but variety makes the world go round I suppose!
Mayo is ridiculous you say? I challenge that...
Have you ever heard of egg salad sandwich?

(11,631 posts)Isn't it just basically like covering your eggs in egg sauce? Do you eat catsup on your tomatoes? Hot sauce on your chili peppers? Float some milk gravy in your glass of milk???

(11,631 posts)...on a fat greasy burger which my wife scoffs at and says its just a side of grease with your grease. Has to be a round burger from the grill thats never once been smooshed (I caught her smooshing away on my grilled burgers once with grease just sizzling out and I confiscated that spatula forever)... with mayo AND catsup and thick slices of homegrown tomato and vidalia onion and dill pickle... all on square white bread no bun! (Sorry maybe this post is off topic belongs in another thread! )

(1,786 posts)Especially Green Chili Salsa. Not Verde Salsa, which is just a Green Salsa usually made with yellow chili's, but Salsa made with Green Chili's, preferable from Hatch, New Mexico. It is hard to find in Sacramento.
When I went to Tucson two years ago, afterwards I went east to Hatch and bought a bunch of different salsa's. I've run out since but will try to make it again later this year or early next year. I'm ready for another 2,500 mile road trip.

(10,279 posts)However, I do recall that when I was in HS biology lab in 1958, mayo was the preferred substrate for culturing bacteria. Seeing that application, I began to choose vinegar based adjuncts for my foods.

(11,686 posts)Now, cheese, sour cream, pepper, and hot sauce are good. Not necessarily at once.
My friend puts ketchup on his sunny side up eggs then mashes them together. I need not go into detail of what that looks like to me.

And some sausage links nearby to go floating around in the syrup spill.

I like chickens, though, and will try to make their lives interesting and fun, and will not eat them, either.
