I've been binge watching Game of Thrones, as this year marks its 10 anniversary

I'm in season 6 now.

Two scenes I just cannot watch: The Red Wedding from Season 4 and Hodor/Summer getting killed in this season

1. I thought the plot really went downhill when the remaining dragon turned into a unicorn.

2. I had to skip past the Ramsay Bolton/ Reek scenes when I rewatched

3. I was furious with the last season's placement of the great battle.

We spent .....no, we invested 8 years of our lives waiting for
the grand finale battle, and closure of plot points, and it ended up
as if Star Wars blew up the Death Star in the first 20 minutes into
the movie.
Also, stupid battle at that.

4. Didn't they kind of outpace the books?

And that seems about when the plot got very random in season 7 & 8.

5. I seem to remember there were new writers

And mebbe a new director, because the tone changed for those
seasons. I was reminded of how The West Wing changed as it neared the end of its run.

6. The show ended with Olenna for me, but I have friends less than thrilled with the real end! nt
