there is nothing here to eat except peas.
jebus this shit has been hard.
i've never spent this much time alone in my long life.
i dont like it. it's probably character building, but i'm not having fun.

and trying to step out of it, i find myself having to step over the wreckage of 2020.
2021 sucks in it's own special way so far.

1. The great thing about being an introvert during a pandemic....

Is your life doesn't change much; you just have much better excuses for not being social.

But I get your frustration. Except for the part about peas, unless you can't afford food. There is plenty out there and they will even deliver it to your door contact free.

But hang in there. Go for a walk in the woods and talk to the bees. They are great listeners.

2. My sympathies to non-hermits.

I've been on lockdown for over 400 days now, but I'm such a hermit anyway that I don't notice the difference. The only thing I miss is visiting with my kids and grandkids. But that will come in time.

On edit: I also miss my once-per-week poker games that were my only real social activity.

5. i'm an extroverted introvert.

i can go a long time w/o other people, but i enjoy good company, too.
i have fun in crowds, and enjoy my time w people.

but still, going out to stores and such w people's naked faces attesting to how much they dont care if i die, it's just raw.
some days i just cant.

i actually eat well, and what i damn well please.
i'm sure i'm already a better person. but this all feels like some kind of penance.

I thought of life being like an ATM and you're only allowed to withdraw so many smiles, tears, good & bad from it each day.

there'd be a better connection between what you put in and what you get out.
gotta say i was born w good things in my account, tho money wasnt one of them.

i think the overdraft fees are a bit excessive. every time i slip, it seems to cost me.
