(2,565 posts)My sister once had a mynah bird who was a prolific talker. Best of all, he could do spot-on vocal impersonations.
He also had a fiendish sense of humor...especially when it came to tormenting her decidedly unstable Siamese cats. Occasionally the bird would call the cats using Jevanka's voice, promising treats. Yowling in delight, the two gormless cats would come charging into the room and spend a remarkable amount of time tearing around, looking for her. Eventually, they'd figure out they'd been conned again, and slink off muttering and grumbling. The mynah would invariably laugh at them, using my sister's voice. Just to twist the knife.
