...and pretty much said to the big cat, "I'm here to tell you that you ARE going to fall in love with me, so there's no point in spending much time pretending it's not going to happen." She just snuggled up against him claimed her rightful place.

4. Years ago I fostered four cats from an animal abuse situation... Crazy guy, warned off the public

with a gun, keeping meticulous notes on how much insecticide cats could tolerate before dying, freezer full of dead cats. As soon as people noticed his absence, the law came. Dead from a heart attack. About fifty cats were split up for fostering.

So I got four. They were angels! But what really stunned me was how overboard solicitous and affectionate they were to the younger fosters I had. I remember one day looking down onto a cat bed. I could see one occupant was a large black and white, one of the four. Stuffed around him, filling every inch of space, were many black and white little ones. You couldn't at all see where one animal began or ended. Just a swirl of black and white! Why was that adult male who'd probably received no attention or affection in his whole life so attentive and affectionate? A mystery... but I was glad El Loco dropped dead before he experimented on the rest of his specimens.

5. i would feel no shame hurting

an asshole that did that to cats.

Sometimes I wish hurting cats got
assholes like him killed on the spot the minute they got caught
like in ancient Egypt.

I hope his heart attack was long and painful and the impending doom was terrifying for him.I hope his afterlife, if he has one at all.. is forever fleeing in terror from the wrath of Sekhmet and the fear of Bast and terror of every sweet cat he hurt. Made helpless, since Ammit has eaten his bitter little black heart and the only food he can have is poisonous and he suffers as the innocent precious cats he murdered and abused did.
There has to be bigger lasting punishments for people that abuse animals.
And they must be supervised personally by animal welfare to be sure that they may never have an animal again.

If I had my way, I wish death to every cat abuser. A painful agonizing slow death.
Anyone who abuses animals is unworthy of life on this planet imho.

Vetoed it. Sensitivity to animal rights is improving, but we still have a long way to go!!!!
