About planning: I like to plan and have things under control, mostly! And then there are times when it's fun to go with the flow!

Of course, big things need planning. It just depends.

6. Plans are just a framework for flow to lift off from.

I had a stepfather who planned every trip down to the minute. He never wavered and we were miserable. There was no room for anything spontaneous or fun ever. Fortunately, Mom got sick of him, too.

7. Now that I'm old I have to plan

Otherwise I'll forget what I have to do and what I need to get it done. I was much more of a flow guy when I was younger. But I'm better equipped now that I'm older to go with the flow when things don't go the way I expect.
